Mark Burns is a dedicated legal professional committed to advocating for plaintiffs in civil litigation. Born, raised and educated in Southern New Jersey, Mark brings both a local perspective and a deep passion for justice to his practice. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Stockton University and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Camden. With a background that includes having worked at a civil rights and employment law firm, Mark brings both ardent commitment and practical experience to every case. His holistic understanding of litigation strategies, trials, and motion practice ensures that his clients receive the strongest representation possible.

In addition to his work in private practice, Mark gained valuable judicial insight during his time as a law clerk for Presiding Judge Douglas Hurd in Mercer County, Trenton, New Jersey. This experience provided him with a well-rounded perspective on the inner workings of the courtroom and helped shape his meticulous approach to legal advocacy—skills he attributes directly to Judge Hurd’s tutelage.
